Animal prints are back again.
For a long time wearing clothes with animal prints was “not done” or “wrong”.
Wearing animal prints was associated with net stockings, stiletto heals and it had a cheap image.
In the fashion of fall/winter 2014, there was a turnaround and animal prints are given a prominent place.
This is due to a number of major designers who had the leading role and made their own variations on classic animal prints.
Look at the example below from Dutch designers Viktor & Rolf. In their haute couture winter collection 2014/2015 red carpet is used for the dresses with animal print cuttings.
Naturaly haute couture is not for every purse, but also for someone with a small purse, there is enough to wear and to be trendy with animal prints.
Trendbubbles made a selection for your inspiration of the various garments and accessories. Combined with pretty plain garments and accessories you can make a smashing impression.
Animal prints from head to foot
These tough boots we love very much. Do you also see the red pair behind? It's the same color as the dresses from Viktor & Rolf. That's actually pretty unique, because most items with animal prints we found were in brown with cream or white with black combinations. For inspiration look at the pictures below. From left to right, from top to bodem: Ralph Lauren top, Camel coat by Promiss, Top bustier by Mona, Coat with imitation fur by Dept, Pantys by Boozt, and a Geisha T-shirt.
In the picture below you see from left to right, top to bodem: Jeans with zebra print by Retour, a shoulder bag by Manfield, a jump suit by Geisha, a nice warm red Vero Moda jersey, a shawl with panter print and accent color blue or orange by M&S Mode and on the right image a Burkely handbag with loose shoulder strap and zebra print.
So, there is a huge choise in animal printed garment to be trendy this fall.
We wonder how “animal print minded” the people in the Netherlands are and which garments or accessories will be worn the most.
