Sometimes, as a trend watcher, you spot things of which you don’t know for sure whether they will become a trend or not.
In that case, Désirée and I, take photos and save them on our server, resulting in us having a whole stack of unused photos we can draw from, if necessary.

Tadadadaaaaa, here's the rain boots trend.
We spotted them in America and England for several years: rain boots under your normal everyday clothes, but the conservative Netherlands stayed behind with this trend.
Funny really, because the Netherlands is a country with a lot of rain, so why wouldn’t its people respond to this necessity and wear cheerful-looking rainboots?
Does this have to do with the mentality of the Dutch: “we only use the stuff for which they are made, and nothing else?
These were the kind of reactions on this summer’s emerging trend of wearing water shoes in fun colors under your summer clothes.
The long-term American trend of wearing sneakers to go to work, isn’t taken over by the Dutch to such an extent.

We wonder if the Dutch are massively going to wear rain boots.
This year, every self-respecting brand has some fantastic rubber rain boots to choose from.
Since we, from Trendbubbles, regularly stay in the forest and don’t want to change our shoes every time, we will also get ourselves a nice pair.
