1. Yirga, Urban Espressobar and natural kitchen
In Breda you can find in the centre of the town the Sint Annastraat, which is currently developing as a fashionable street with typical, characteristic old houses and quaint shops and eateries.
If you are looking for a trendy coffee with delicious superfood refreshments, including a mill cake, carrot cake, granola bar or superfood cookie, you can go to Yirga.
Yirga is located on the corner with the Stadserf.
The interior is brightly decorated and offers a peaceful atmosphere.
We identify a lot of trendy things like Slow Coffee (filter coffee served in a small carafe), various organic coffees, knitted lampshades, chalk boards, retro chairs, trendy lettering and attractive wall art — printed with the not so famous, but oh so attractive Riso technique — of neighbour Staynice (located on Stadserf). The service is extremely friendly and helpfull and therefore we put Yirga to # 1.

2. Banketbakkerij-Tearoom H. van Haaren
Since about 60 years the pastry shop H. van Haaren can be found in the Veemarktstraat and the shop came recently into new hands. The interior hasn't changed much in these years.
Are you looking for coffee with a delicious pastry or fine chocolates in an atmosphere as the old days, then Pastry shop-Tearoom van Haaren is an absolute must.
Especially the meringue is very famous.
So go there and inhale the smell of fresh coffee and enjoy the fine pastry in this “golden oldie” with modern spirit.
